2010 burgers

Oh my! How did 3 months go by with us not posting? The last photo's were from a family trip to Burgers and Brew but honestly I can't even remember what I had to eat. I think I pass on that review for now since it has faded from my mind. In the future I'll try to get posted within a week so I don't forget everything I ate.

John Henry turned 16 last week and the family plus Rory plus Linda plus Emily, headed to The Counter at the Fountains in Roseville. Rory had tried out this burger joint over the summer and highly recommended it.

The list of toppings alone give it a thumbs up. You name it, and you can get it on the burger. Cheese and sauces and veggies and other.

Jane and I split the fish burger of the week. Actually it was a crab cake on a bun but who cares what they call it. Then we also split the basic burger with cheese, BBQ sauce and a few veggies. Both were excellent. But my favorite thing was the sweet potato fries! They completely rock. The regular fries are bad either but the sweet potato fries are worth going back for. They were the perfect thickness and super sweet. The fried pickle chips weren't bad either.

I am giving the burgers a 7. They were good but not super memorable. The toppings were memorable. The fries were memorable. I would give those a 10. We spent a fortune but that was probably because we ordered so many sides with our burgers. When you round in the price, the long drive, the good burger, the great toppings and the excellent fries, I'm giving the whole experience an 8.5.

We'll see what John says.

  1. Sounds good. If you add a category to critique my suggestion would be latex or no latex. LOL.

  2. Agree about the fries yummy and the cost was high for burgers (that were good but not great) The milk shake looked good too, maybe next time.
